How Our Capitalist Culture is in Danger

By Benyamin Solomon, Newsflavor

America's Capitalist roots are in danger, as President Obama and the crazy liberal congress seeks to use the economic crisis to impose Socialism.

");

After the election of President Barack Obama, the incompetent liberal Democrat party nuts have a monopoly in the US government. Right now, the Democrats in congress and President Obama colluded in exploiting the economic crisis to impose Socialism on America. America as the great Capitalist nation is in danger. The Stimulus plan was just the beginning. The stimulus plan calls for more government control. It calls for more government spending. It doesn't give money to the people, but to many projects that have nothing to do with the current economic crisis. It will more than one trillion dollars. 400 million dollars will go to global warming "research", which is one of the things in the Stimulus bill that has nothing to do with the economic crisis. Obama's Stimulus bill will make the economy worse off and will not help the economic crisis.

When the Obama administration and the Democrat congress pushed hard for the stimulus plan, officials from the Obama administration told a Democratic member of congress Jim Cooper [it's in the video in that site] that the Stimulus plan is a bad bill. Jim Cooper observed that the Democrat beaurocrats just want the bill past and that they don't care if it'll fix America's economy.

There has been talk of Stimulus II. Obama and the Democrats seek to have bigger government and to impose Socialism on our great nation America.

The stimulus plan, which had 80% of support among the American people in the beginning, ended up getting 37% support among the American people.

This country is already in a horrible economic crisis, even moving toward the Great Depression. But Socialism and bigger government will just make this economy worse.

Myths About the New Deal and How We're Repeating History with Our Liberal Monopoly in the US Government

By Benyamin Solomon, Newsflavor

Contrary to the leftist myth in our mainstream media, the New Deal put this country down the tubes.

");

The New Deal was when we had one of the biggest governments in history. The liberal mainstream media claims that it helped end the Great Depression. The truth is that the New Deal made the Great Depression even worse. During the Great Depression, Franklin Roosvelt raised taxes on individuals and corporations to fund his stupid government programs. He was creating one of the biggest Socialist nanny state in history. The Foundation for Economic education [FEE] states that:

With the dramatic rise in government spending on public works, farm subsidies, and various relief programs, the top income tax rate skyrocketed from 24 percent in 1929 to 79 percent in 1935. In 1941 FDR even proposed raising the top rate to 99.5 percent on all income over $100,000 (but ended up settling for 90 percent). Not surprisingly, entrepreneurs were stifled and refused to invest and have their capital confiscated. Unemployment under the New Deal never dropped below 14 percent and averaged over 17 percent.
As the Great Depression persisted, even Treasury Secretary Henry Morgenthau admitted that the New Deal had been a failure. On May 6, 1939, he confessed, “We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work. . . . We have never made good on our promises. . . . I say after eight years of this Administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started. . . . And an enormous debt to boot!”

The new deal made the Great Depression worse. Do you want to know what else made the Great Depression worse? A little thing called tariffs, which is a tax on goods coming in to our country [America] and discourages trade.

Repeat of the New Deal

Right now, President Obama and the crazy Democrats in congress are seeking to turn America into a Socialist nanny state, where the nannies [our government beaurocrats] make stupid decisions in the economy and on foreign policy.

Our great nation America is going down the tubes. Washington DC is becoming Idiot DC.

Obama plans to have universal health care and govenrment programs like on global warming "research" where the liberal greenies will say that those who don't blindly believe in man-made global warming are against the scientific community, which has a "consensus" saying that it's there. Guess what, 31,000 scientists signed the Oregon petition, which challenged the man-made global warming "scientific" theory [more like religion]. Sure, some of you liberals out there will try to tell me that they're not scientists, but Christian Fundamentalists. Two problems with that is that they're not Christian Fundamentalists and that the real Fundamentalists in science are the ones who blindly believe [sure I will not say anything about everyone who believes in man-made global warming] in man-made global warming. They are the real Fundamentalists, in how they behave and act. They claim that they're being scientific, but if so, then they'll listen to the evidence on the other side. That's the kind of global warming "research" we will have in the Stimulus plan, where all the Al Gore kooks are the absolute truth no matter what and where whoever says otherwise is attacking the scientific community

The Stimulus plan include other silly things that have nothing to do with the economy like foot odor research, tattoo removal and  research on the genetics of grapes. Way too much money is spent on all three of those projects, as well as other stupid projects that have nothing to do with the economic crisis. The Stimulus plan is really there to have bigger government and to impose Socialist control on America.

Many things in the stimulus bill are silly things. The Stimulus bill is really a plan [at least a big part of it] for the liberal Democrat congress and President Obama to impose a far-left Socialist agenda. It is really an attempt by the Democrat Beaurocrats to weaken the private sector and impose government control on our economy. We have  trillions of dollars in deficit and people losing their jobs. Yet the Obama administration and the liberal Democrats in our congress will spend millions or billions on very stupid little things, as well as raising taxes from those who make more than $250.000 a year [that's what Obama said in his election campaign, but Obama's plan is worse since he will actually raise the taxes of those who make more than $208.000 a year]. That means that if they want to start a business, then they'll have less money to hire employees and less money to spend on the private sector. Throughout his campaign, Obama tries make those who make more than $250.000 a year as the same as ones who make millions or billions. Obama lumps them as the "rich" [making a little more than $250.000 a year doesn't make people rich, but still in the Middle Class]. Instead of having the rich use it to strengthen the private sector or start a business and hire more employes, Obama and the Democrat Beaurocrats will raise their taxes for stupid government programs. Obama and the Democrat congress will spend billions on every stupid little thing even while we have trillions of dollars in deficit. The Stimulus plan will create another trillions of dollars in deficit, spending the money on many stupid programs.

Conclusion

The lesson here is that Socialism is a complete failure. Raising taxes, on anybody [yes even the rich] is a always a bad idea, espeically during the economic crisis. America needs to come back to its Capitalist roots. Give money to the people, not to these stupid programs nor to the government Beaurocrats. Even in the Cold-war, America fought for Capitalist freedom. Our nation [America] was built on Capitalist freedom. America is in desperate need of a Capitalist restoration. Sure, Capitalism is not perfect, but it is the best economic and most productive system out there. It is what America was built upon.

Obama's Socialism is Taken to a Whole New Level

By Benyamin Solomon, Newsflavor

Obama's plan goes to a whole new level with control of non-financial corporations like AIG. You will see more about Obama's Socialist agenda.

I've been showing how Obama and the liberal Democrat congress seek to exploit the economic crisis in order to impose a far-left Socialist agenda. "How our Capitalist Culture is in Danger" is the title of one of my articles. In my articles about Obama's plan to impose Socialism, I talked about the Stimulus bill, but made no mention of the Omnibus spending bill, the latter of which has the same kind of stupid government programs as the Stimulus bill. Both the stimulus bill and the Omnibus spending bill are part of Obama's plan to impose Socialism on America. The Omnibus spending bill includes stupid programs like way too much money for pig odar research. Both the stimulus plan and the Omnibus spending bill have thousands of stupid earmarks.

Now, Obama's Socialist plan has taken a new level. Obama plans to take control of AIG and any non-financial corporation that it hasn't bailed out. The announcement was made by Obama in his press conference and the tax cheat Treasury Secretary Timothy Geitner. Obama claims that it's to prevent AIG form going under. He says that he is just going to control any company that he feels is going under, any company he sees fit. Since AIG is a huge corporation, many people fear that if it goes under, then it will take at least much of the economy down with it.

Obama wants to cap executive pay. The Senate a passed an outrageous 90% state tax for AIG executive bonuses and any other executive bonuses. That was in response to the outrage of the bonuses paid to AIG executives. The bonuses were part of the Stimulus plan that the Democrat beaurocrats did not read. It happened under Timothy Geitner's watch. Yet the democrats got in the blame game. So then came the unconstitutional 90% tax. Obama didn't do much to oppose it. He would just get general, paying really cheap lipservice [this may be an overstatement] to opposing this unconstitutional Socialist move.

Even Jacob Hornberger, who wrote a distorted article titled "Augusto Pinochet and the Conservative Threat to America" correctly said this:

At least the Cuban people recognize that they live under a socialist order. The American people have permitted themselves to be convinced that their system continues to be “free enterprise.” In fact, when you confront an ordinary American with the fact that public (i.e., government) schooling and government-provided health care are the core elements of Fidel Castro’s system, they’re likely to say, “You mean Castro is finally adopting free enterprise?” The sad plight of the American people can be summed up with the words of Johann von Goethe: “None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.”

As much disagreements as I have with Jacob Hornberger, at least he understands how Socialism ruins economies and Capitalism strengthens economies.

Obama is in a covert agenda to impose Socialism. He lies to the American public, telling them that he's not a Socialist, just like how he downplayed his ties with all these radical pro-terrorist figures like William Ayres and Rashid Khalidi.

Socialism contradicts the visions the Founding Fathers had for America. They dreamt of a free market system. They believed in individual liberty for everyone. Yet now, we have Barack Obama imposing a far-left Socialist agenda on America. He's exploiting the economic crisis to serve his Socialist aims, which will move our great nation [America] down the tubes.

Another thing unconstitutional is the 90% tax. The constitutions ays that you can not single out people like that. Tha'ts what the 90% tax is. The 90% tax will not help AIG or any of these big companies. It'll help them collapse faster.

Now, we will have a government beaurocratic monoply on our big non-financial corporations, as Obama will take more control of them and tell them how to run their buisness. That's right. It'll include even the corporations that didn't recieve any bailout. For Obama is capping executive pay and taking more control even of corporations that didn't recieve any bailout.

Right now, Obama and the Democrat Beaurocrats are turning the Unied States of America [USA] into the Socialist Nanny States of America [SNSA].

And the Republicans are just going along with it. Republicans are abandoning their true right-wing Conservative values and standing by as Obama continues with his Socialist agenda and lies to the American people by telling them that it's still free market Capitalism.

Obama's Socialist agenda, which began when Obama as a community organizer i.e. radical leftist kook, and is now taking effect with Obama being President, is going through level after level after level. During his presidential campaign, Obama promised to cut the deficit in half. Yeet he's increasing it, evne wasting the money. Under President Bush, at least the money wasspend more wisely, with less earmarks. At least it was spend liberating a counry [Iraq] from a brutal dictator [Saddam Hussein], who killed and tortured thousands of his people, who supproted terrorists like Abu Abbas and Calos the Jackal and who gave money to families of Palestinian suicide bombers for their family members suicide terrorist attack on innocent Israeli men, women and children. The left made a big deal at how big the deficit was. Now, Obama will increase the deficit, wasting the taxes the Obama beaurocracy collects from the American people in taxes on stupid programs like foot odor research and pig odor research, all of which have nothing to do with the economy. The CBO [Congressional Budget Office] has estimated that with Obama's stupid programs, it will cost 1 trillion dollars a year. According to the CBO, Obama's programs will increase our deficit to 10 trillion dollars in ten years, as the deficit will increase to 1 trillion per year. On the stimulus plan, the CBO said that it will be helpful in the shorterm, but harmful to the economy in the longterm. Since the congress is the Democrat majority, the CBO is run by Democrats now.

Obama's Socialist policies will make our [America's] economy even worse. As I said, America needs a Capitalist restoration, not a nanny state big government Socialist far left agenda.

Barack Obama’s Socialist Philosophy

by Jacob G. Hornberger, The Future Freedom Foundation
Thursday, June 12, 2008

The central point of Barack Obama’s economic plan is to tax the rich in order the give money to the poor. Of course, this is nothing more than the core philosophy of the welfare state. It is also the core principle of socialism.

What Democrats (and Republicans) have a difficult time facing is the philosophical roots of the New Deal, the federal program that abandoned the economic philosophy of laissez faire in favor of the welfare state. American welfare-state advocates attained many of their economic ideas from two primary sources: Benito Mussolini and Joseph Stalin, both of whom were highly admired by leftist American intellectuals and politicians in the 1930s.

Mussolini’s economic philosophy was fascism, which was a system in which the government left private property under private ownership but subjected it to government control. Stalin’s economic philosophy was socialism, which involved taking property from the rich in order to redistribute it to the poor.

During the 1930s, American leftists were traveling to fascist Italy and the socialist (and communist) Soviet Union not only to pay homage to Mussolini and the fascists and Stalin and the socialists but also to gain ideas from them for use in the United States. Many of the fans of fascism and socialism ended up serving in the Franklin Roosevelt administration or as founts of ideas for FDR.

The irony (and hypocrisy) is that U.S. officials often rail against foreign regimes that engage in socialism. For example, consider Iran in 1953. The Iranian regime nationalized the oil industry, which means that they cancelled British ownership of oil rights in Iran and transferred such rights to the Iranian government. That action is what ultimately caused the CIA to oust the democratically elected prime minister of Iran from office and install the brutal dictatorship of the Shah of Iran.

Today, what are Obama and other Democrats calling for as a solution to high oil prices? They’re calling for confiscation of oil revenues from oil companies, or what they call a “windfall profits tax.” (Never mind that the oil prices are largely a reflection of a crashing dollar brought about by out-of-control federal spending, which Democrats have enthusiastically supported. Confiscating revenues from the oil companies deflects attention away from the federal government and toward an easy scapegoat.)

What’s the difference in principle between nationalizing an oil company and stealing its revenues? Isn’t the difference one of degree rather than principle? Iranian officials steal all of the company and U.S. officials steal a portion of the company. And they do it in the name of equalization and the people.

One year later — 1954, the CIA ousted the democratically elected president of Guatemala, Jacobo Arbenz, and installed a brutal military general in his stead. Arbenz’s crime? He was a socialist who confiscated unused land owned by United Fruit Company, a U.S. corporation doing business in Guatemala, and redistributed it to Guatemalan peasants. That was a super no-no in the eyes of U.S. officials, especially given that United Fruit was a contributor to the political campaigns of many U.S. congressmen. Yet, Arbenz’s socialist philosophy was no different in principle from that of President Franklin Roosevelt, whose New Deal philosophy was based on taking from the rich in order to give to the poor.

The ardent devotion to socialism among American liberals is one reason that they have long had a deep sympathy toward Fidel Castro. Castro carried out socialist principles to their logical conclusion. The state took ownership of everyone’s property and then redistributed the largess to everyone. Cubans who owned large mansions, for example, had them confiscated, whereupon poor people were permitted to move in to the houses. All businesses, large and small, were nationalized for the interests of the nation and the people.

How is that different from Obama’s dream of taxing the rich in order to equalize people’s economic condition? Castro confiscates and redistributes 100 percent. Obama wants to confiscate and redistribute, say, 30 percent. Big deal. The difference is one of degree, not one of principle. Socialism is socialism.
